The high school lessons provide students with pre- and post-assessments for each lesson (except review lessons). These short surveys include three to five questions related to the lesson content. These questions are presented in the formats of true-or-false or multiple-choice, with only one correct answer per question.
There are also three perception statements on a Likert scale with a rating of 1 to 4. These statements provide an opportunity for students to reflect on what they feel they understand from the lesson content. These student responses will provide valuable information not only about their knowledge of the content learned but also about their ability to use the information or skills they have learned.
Before instruction of the lesson, review the Guidelines for Administering the Pre- and Post-Student Assessments. This will ensure that you are using the assessments effectively and consistently.

At the top of each assessment, there are three questions students must answer:
- Class Code: You can find this in the Teacher Hub at the top of each lesson. We also emailed this to you during the onboarding process. If you are having trouble finding, please reach out to our support team.
- What grade are you in?
- Which part of the lesson are you in?
